Some Helpful Hints on Minerals Leasing

Check with your neighbors and the surrounding nine sections area for the bonus prices being paid before you sign a lease.  Also remember that oil & gas companies do not pay for anything that is not covered in the lease.

http://www.occ.state.ok.us/   After entering this site go to Consumers Service Division: and then look for Oklahoma Royalty Owners Information.  This site will provide and lot of information and answer several questions.

Escrow Account Owner Search:  If you feel that you may have monies that have been turn over to the State of Oklahoma, please enter your information at this site.

Oil & Gas Database:   When you go to this site click the  WELL BROWSE BUTTON  a new page will appear, at the bottom of that page fill in the information for section, township and range,you can obtain the information from your oil and gas lease.  After filling in the information click on the Search Button, the next page will show well information, by clicking on those well's you can see if it producing.  By clicking on Production, you go to another page where production by year will be shown along with other information.  When finished just click on Return.  You can check other well are exit.

Chesapeake Energy Horizontal Drilling and Fracturing:  This is a good link for more information on Drilling and Horizontal Drilling.

Natural Gas Royalty Estimate:  This is a good link to calculate your share of royalties  from  a gas well.

American Royalty Council  This is a good link for check stub information and why your check stub  is so important.  For those individuals who received there royalty check from a oil company.

Office of Natural Resources Revenue (formerly MMS) Frequently Ask Questions.  This is  a great site for Restricted Indian owners who received there royalty checks from the U.S. Treasury.

Oklahoma Oil & Gas Conservation Division (District Office)  This is also a  good site to check if you would like to talked to a District Office in your area, concerning problems with your oil and gas lease.
